Valentina Di Serio

Valentina was born in Rome in 1975. After graduating from art school she continues her studies specializing in illustration.

She matures an interest in interior decoration and deepens

her understanding of trompe l’oeil and trimmings.

In the early 90s she leaves the capital and moves north, on the Tyrrenian coast where she can live in closer contact with nature; her main source of inspiration and the main subject of her work.

She focuses her passion on naturalistic illustration and is awarded, amongst others, 1^st prize in the National Graphic and Naturalistic Illustration Competition presented by the Monti Sibillini National Park organisation.

She collaborates with several publishing houses and environmental protection agencies.

She produces trompe l’oeil, interior design trimmings and brand visuals.

In parallel to her professional artistic activities she teaches, running courses on creative drawing, naturalistic drawing and pictorial techniques for both children and adults.

An old passion for the world of 3 dimensions returns after meeting Master Potter Giovanni Cimatti for the first time in 2004. This journey into the world of pottery marks the beginning of a new artistic direction.

She gives seminars and manages workshops for personal development through art and colour.
